Directions to the Football Field
Driving distance from Mammoth Lakes is about 228 miles. Allow 4 hours driving time in good weather.
Proceed south on U.S. Highway 395 to Kramer's Junction and State Route 58 (about 221 miles).
Turn right, heading west on State Route 58 to Boron. Take the Boron off ramp, turn left on Boron Avenue and proceed south about half a mile to Prospect Street. Turn right on Prospect Street for two tenths of a mile to Boron Junior/Senior High School.

To go to these businesses proceed south from the football field on Boron Avenue to Twenty Mule Team Road, turn right and drive about 3 miles or so.
There are also eating places at Kramer's Corner (Junction of U.S. 395 and State Route 58) and at Mojave (Junction of State Routes 14 and Business 58).

Motel 6 has the best rates with a reduced rate if you make your reservation via the internet and children 17 and under are free. The Motel 6 at the north end of town is near a railroad grade crossing so, unfortunately, there are lots of train whistles during the night.
